jQuery Pin It Button for Images: Breakdown
This plugin is designed for WordPress websites and provides an easy to install a Pin It button to all of the images featured on not only your website, but also any image that is featured on the blog post comments. This plugin saves the user time and effort as there is no need to search for the link of the image to be posted. This plugin also allows users to customize their button to match the look and feel of their website. When configuring, users can customize the button size, border, color, style, label, hover, and active option.
When an image is clicked, this plugin automatically adds the image to the user’s pin board and they can post it by clicking “pin it.” It also allows the user to post an extra description before posting the image. The image’s title and URL are both automatically populated so that you don’t have to worry about making sure they’re included.
This plugin also comes with a variety of useful features. Users can set shortcodes to be placed on any specified post or page, allow/disallow buttons for certain types of content, and even customize the display of the Pin It button. An optional ‘nofollow’ can also be included in the link if desired. Along with these features, the jQuery Pin It Button for Images plugin allows for a user to add a single image to multiple pins on one page and control which images are displayed on a page or post.
