Simple Membership After Login Redirection: Breakdown
The ‘Simple Membership After Login Redirection’ WordPress plugin streamlines the user experience for members logging into an account on a website. Upon entering their account credentials, Members are typically directed to the home page. With the Simple Membership After Login Redirection plugin, website administrators can redirect their Members to any page they want.
To configure the page Members are redirected after signing in, website administrators first install and activate the plugin. After activation is complete, they go to the Settings page of the plugin and click on the ‘After Login’ tab. Here, administrators can select the page they want the user to be directed to after logging in to their account.
Other settings included in the ‘After Login’ tab of the plugin’s settings page are:
-The hide login form feature, which allows website administrators to hide the login form on the after login page. This feature allows website administrators to maintain site security, as the login form will no longer be viewable to the public.
-The Logout Redirect feature global settings tab, which allows website administrators to set up a redirect page for after each user logout. This tab also allows website administrators to set up a redirect page for each member role, as different user roles might need to be directed to different pages after logging out.
