Server IP & Memory Usage Display: Breakdown
Once the plugin is installed and activated, users are brought to a dashboard screen that contains two summary buttons: “Server’s IP” and “Memory Usage”. When users click on either of these buttons, they are taken to a detailed description page that contains further information about the server’s IP address and its current memory usage.
The Server’s IP screen provides users with the exact IP address that is being used for the current server’s connection. It also displays the local IPv4 and IPv6 addresses for the current connection, as well as any other external IP addresses that have been assigned to the server. The Memory Usage screen allows users to review a visual graph that depicts the server’s current memory usage, in both percentage and actual memory values. In addition, this screen also provides information on total available memory, peak memory usage, and the amount of memory that is actively being used. By utilizing these two screens, web administrators can quickly see an overview of the server’s performance and make decisive decisions to optimize the server’s performance or upgrade its memory.
The application also features tabbed options at the top of the main screen that allow users to adjust the plugin’s settings. The General Settings section allows users to set the plugin’s general properties, such as enabling the IP address or memory usage tracking services, setting an interlace interval for memory tracking, and selecting a default selection for memory tracking. The CSS Settings tab enables users to add custom CSS code to the plugin’s output display. The Advanced Settings tab offers additional options, such as enabling debugging mode, setting specific scheduling options, or specifying specific IP addresses to exclude from the memory usage tracking.
